Kay Amongst Recent ADC Winners

Keelan Kay was one of several players to claim victory in the ADC Vault Series 3.0, after winning a recent event in the Southwest region. The Lord of the Board will appear at the Red Dragon Champion of Champions at the end of the month and warmed up for the competition with victory at Ottery St Mary AFC.

The Englishman averaged 91.57 in the Final to defeat Memphis Enright 3-1 and included a Shanghai (120) checkout in the 3rd leg to crucially break the throw.

Willie Borland looks the player to challenge Scott Winder in the Scottish region, with the former Ally Pally 9 Dart Hero trailing by 12 points despite winning 6 Round Robin competitions.

Scott was victorious in the last Vault Series to secure a debut at the MODUS Super Series, and claimed a competition win on Tuesday in Montrose after beating Kyle Walker 3-2 in the Final.

Borland found his 6th tournament success of the Vault 3.0 Series, winning at the Tower Bar in Livingston on Tuesday. Big Willie dropped 0 legs from the Quarter Finals onwards and included a first 9 dart average of 106.78 in the Final, defeating Paul Anderson 3-0 with a 104 finish to wrap up a 12-dart break of throw in the second leg.

Luke Littler recently won his second MODUS Super Series Champions Week, claiming 2 weekly wins to earn £5,000 on each occasion. The Nuke is proving the man to beat at the Live Lounge, having clinched the last 2 Champions Weeks and claimed £40,000 overall after beating Colin Osborne in the most recent Final.

No rest for the 16-year-old in the world of darts, as he returned to claim a Vault Series success at the Windle Arms in St Helens. Luke like Willie Borland dropped no legs in his victories in the Quarters, Semis and Final, beating Patrik Williams in the Final and wrapped up the tournament with the big fish.

Tony Wood moved up to 2nd in the ADC Rankings ahead of former Dartsworld Academy Award winner Chris Wickenden in 3rd. The Pincher claimed 64 ranking points after winning the TDC 2023 Ranking Series 5 at Ormesby Club and Institute, beating Matt Hodgson 5-4 in the Final.

Tony dropped no legs as he raced into the Quarter Finals, beating the likes of Carl Redden, Karl Beauchamp, Peter Frewer and John Purdy all without reply.

Wood led in the ADC Rankings at the start of the year and moves up the rankings once more after returning to winning ways on Teesside. Adam Mould remains the player to catch though, with 509pts separating him from 2nd place after what has been a fantastic year for the former MODUS Super Series weekly winner who has 1222 points.

The Vault Series 3.0 ends on the 27th of August, with all regional winners earning a spot at the MODUS Super Series and an opportunity to appear live on TV. The likes of Steve Hine, James Richardson and Nathan Treadgold came through the Vault 2nd Series to claim their places in Portsmouth last month.
